Everything Included — Power, Sound, and Control

Unlike smaller packages, the Ultimate Event is a fully self-contained production. You focus on your event — we handle every technical detail.

What's Included

A Complete Festival-Scale Cinema Setup

The Ultimate Event package is our most comprehensive outdoor cinema deployment. Every piece of equipment is commercial-grade and scaled to handle the demands of large public events, festivals, and major corporate gatherings. Projection is set up well behind the crowd and projected over them — no obstructions, unobstructed sightlines for everyone.

📐

Giant AirScreen Inflatable YOUR CHOICE

Choose from our 30-foot (510 sq ft · up to 1,200 guests), 40-foot (880 sq ft · 1,200–2,000 guests), or 52-foot (1,300 sq ft · up to 5,000 guests) AirScreen inflatable. All screens feature a professional tensioned rear-projection surface and are built to withstand large outdoor events. The 52-foot model is the largest inflatable movie screen available, weighing under 900 lbs for surprisingly fast deployment.

💡

High-Power Laser Projector FESTIVAL GRADE

16,000-lumen laser projection for the 30 and 40-foot screens, stepping up to a 20,000-lumen laser projector for the 52-foot screen. These are broadcast-grade units with exceptional color accuracy and contrast — fully capable of producing a stunning picture even in partially lit outdoor environments. Projectors are positioned well behind the audience and aimed over the crowd for unobstructed viewing.

🔊

Professional Speaker Array MULTI-SPEAKER

A multi-speaker professional audio system scaled to fill the venue. Speakers are positioned and calibrated for even sound coverage across the entire audience area — from the front row to the back of a crowd of thousands. Clear, balanced audio is essential at this scale, and our system delivers.

🎬

Professional Video Switching PRO A/V

A professional video switcher allows seamless transitions between multiple content sources — trailers, sponsor reels, live feeds, movies, and more. Run a full pre-show program and switch to your feature presentation without interruption. Perfect for sponsored events, festivals, and any event requiring polished A/V production.

Generator Power FULLY SELF-POWERED

At this scale, you can't rely on venue power. The Ultimate Event package includes industrial generator power to run the entire system — projector, audio, blowers, and all support equipment. No extension cord runs, no venue power negotiations, no worrying about circuit capacity. We handle it all.

🔧

Heavy-Duty Tiedowns & Ground Anchoring

Screens of this size require specialized heavy-duty tiedown systems and ground anchoring beyond what smaller packages use. Our team brings all required rigging hardware and installs it to manufacturer specs, ensuring the screen is safe and stable throughout your event regardless of wind conditions.

🎮

Blu-ray / DVD Player & Media Playback

Commercial-grade Blu-ray and DVD playback is included. Bring your own disc or connect an HDMI source for digital playback. Our team handles all media connections and confirms playback before your audience arrives.

🏗️

Professional Setup & Full-Event Staffing

A crew arrives well ahead of your event start time to deploy and test all equipment. For large events, multiple technicians are on-site throughout to monitor the system, manage any technical issues, and ensure a flawless experience from open to close. We pack out completely when the show ends.

How It Works

Simple Process, Spectacular Results

01

Request a Custom Quote

Large events have unique requirements. Reach out and tell us about your venue, expected attendance, and event timeline. We'll recommend the right screen size and configuration for your specific situation.

02

Site Planning & Logistics

Our team coordinates a venue assessment to confirm screen placement, generator positioning, projection throw distance, and cable runs. Large screens require advance site planning — we've done this hundreds of times and know exactly what to look for.

03

Crew Arrives & Full Setup

Our crew arrives 3–5 hours before showtime for large deployments. The screen is inflated and anchored, the projection system is calibrated, audio is positioned and balanced, and the generator is tested. Everything is production-ready before a single guest arrives.

04

Showtime — We Stay the Whole Night

Our technicians remain on-site for the entire event. We run the pre-show content, handle video switching, manage audio levels, and monitor the system throughout. When the final credits roll, we break down and remove all equipment.

⚠ A Few Things You'll Need to Handle

  • A flat, open outdoor area large enough for your selected screen size (minimum 65 ft × 50 ft clear space for the 30-ft; larger for 40 and 52-ft screens)
  • Audience management, ticketing, or event staffing — our crew handles the cinema equipment only
  • Any required permits or municipal approvals for large public gatherings
  • BYOD movie license if showing a commercially released film to a large public audience
  • Coordination access at least 3–5 hours before event start for setup crew

FAQ

Questions About the Ultimate Event

How far behind the crowd does the projector need to be?

+
For our 30 and 40-foot screens, projectors typically need 80–120 feet of throw distance. For the 52-foot screen, allow for 100–150 feet. Our team assesses the venue during site planning and confirms the exact setup. The projector is always positioned well behind the last row of the audience and aimed over the crowd — no obstructions, clean sight lines throughout.

Is a generator always required for the Ultimate Event?

+
Yes, and it's always included. Screens of this size require substantial power for the inflatable blowers, the high-lumen laser projector, the speaker array, and all support equipment. Venue power sources are rarely adequate or conveniently located for large outdoor deployments. We bring industrial generator power sized for the full system load — it's part of the package.

How long does setup take for a 40 or 52-foot screen?

+
Typical setup time for the 30-foot screen is 2–3 hours. The 40-foot requires 3–4 hours and the 52-foot requires 4–5 hours or more depending on site conditions. We always plan for early access and build in extra time to test and calibrate before the first guest arrives. For major events, we may coordinate a pre-event site visit as well.

What does professional video switching allow me to do?

+
Video switching lets you run a full multi-source program on the big screen — trailers, sponsor reels, countdown timers, live camera feeds, and your main feature, all seamlessly transitioned. You can cut between sources instantly with no dead air. This is essential for sponsored events or festivals where the screen carries advertising or programming before and between features.

Do I need a special permit to show a movie to a large crowd?

+
For public screenings — any event where the public is admitted, whether free or paid — a public performance license is required for commercially released films. Premiere Outdoor Movies does not provide these licenses, but services like Swank Motion Pictures or Criterion Pictures make the process straightforward and affordable. We can point you in the right direction. Private events (company picnics, invite-only gatherings) typically do not require a license.

Can the 52-foot screen handle a windy event?

+
The AirScreen 52 is engineered to handle outdoor conditions, but all large screens require proper anchoring and favorable weather. Our heavy-duty tiedown systems are sized for each screen and installed to manufacturer specifications. For all events, we monitor weather conditions in the days leading up and maintain direct communication with you about any concerns. Sustained winds over 25–30 mph typically require operational adjustments or postponement for the largest screens — your safety and your audience's safety always comes first.
